Biography

Andréia Anschau received her PhD degree in Chemical Engineering in 2014 at State University of Campinas (UNICAMP), Brazil. She became professor at Bioprocess Engineering and Biotechnology Department at Federal University of Technology (UTFPR) in 2015. Since 2017 she cordinates the Master Program in Biotechnology at UTFPR. Professor Anschau is currently leading a multidisciplinary team of scientists, working in a broad spectrum of interests, focusing on yeast and microalgae fermentation, bioenergy, biomass and bioprocessing. She is working on the utilization of different waste materials as alternative, cheap and renewable substrates for the production of value added products such as biofuels
